The 4th of July Parade in Sandwich this year was squeezed in between rain and humidity. Hurricane Arthur was close by, but everyone had a blast watching some very clever floats, and eating pancakes before, and strawberry cake after at local churches. It was my first 4th of July here in Sandwich, after being Master of Ceremonies for over a decade in Stoughton, where this year's parade was canceled, due to inclement weather. Kudos to all those who worked hard to make it happen! |
